pierce the veil doesn’t have a single bad song, but collide with the sky is their best album and my favorite out of all of them. i swear i never got tired of this album or this hand, i don’t listen to this band always but i can always come back to this band, whether it’s cause i feel anger, resentment, nostalgia, love, heartbreak, betrayal, guilt, regret, anything, they’re there. they saved me from suicide, helped me through the beginning of my healing last year in June, they comforted me. i love these guys so much! one day i’m going to get one of their song lyrics tattooed. “darling you’ll be okay”

Vic said in the interview with AP Magazine that this song is about this girl he thought could be "the one", they weren't ever official & they were both seeing other peope. She ended up getting pregnant and staying with the other guy and ending things with him. This song is about the night she told him all that.
Its crazy how personal artists get in their music. I love Pierce The Veil and Vic Fuentes' honesty in his lyrics <3

my first ptv song was king for a day, heard it 2 years ago and instantly fell in love (: i'm still madly in love with them.

We were both still seeing other people. She ended up getting pregnant and having a baby with someone else. That kind of ended the whole thing. It was an intense, confusing experience for both of us... That song explains the night she told me what happened and what was going to happen."

I remember being 13 and absolutely admiring this song for everything it was. And much like most of PTV's songs when I was 13, none of them made any sense. Fast foward to 5 years later and sing these songs at the top of your lungs and then get hit with the sudden realization of what the hell Victor fucking Fuentes is singing about. I just got punched with plus ultra in the gut and now I have a reason to cry. Fucking great man. Also, kellic comments are so nostalgic.

this hurts my heart to *really* listen to the lyrics. like these guys are really dorky and goof around a lot and make sure all of us are smiling but yet this type of shit happens to them and no one knows until they write a song about it and ugh.
