Nice to finally come across some videos of real glass work. I’m a service glazier for a big company and It surprises me how rare it is for people to have legitimate knowledge of cutting and fabricating plate, mirror, IG’s, etc. great stuff man!

Sir! You are a life saver. This was my first time cutting glass, and your tips worked like a charm. It made me want to explore stained glass, scribing and breaking artistically.

I really needed this video some months ago. This is MUCH easier than what I ACTUALLY did. Oh well...3rd times a charm. Good thing I'm not superstitious.

Do you have a link to the mirror cover you used? I have one but it's not deep enough to nicely sit flush on the glass

I have a question.
Replacing glass on an excavator with plexiglass polycarbonate, do I need to prime the plastic first before applying the adhesive?
I was going to lay the plastic down and then use a router to cut the complicated shape after curing.
This was the second door glass I’m replacing somehow a stone got kicked up between the door and frame both times, glass is too delicate and expensive that’s why I’m using plastic this time.
Any thoughts or advice?

Would it be ok to use masking tape to mark exactly where my whole is going before I start drilling? Also I’m drilling into a decorative mirror meant to hang directly on the wall, so it has a backing attached to it already (could be wood could be hard plastic). While drilling can I use the diamond drill to continue straight thru the back?

Hello, I purchased my glass mirror and received an acrylic mirror. I was disappointed at first but impressed with the quality so I'm ok with it. My question is can I drill in the mirror acrylic as I learned from watching you drill thru glass with the same diamond drill bit and lubricant?

Damn that Glass socket cover looks so sexy on that mirror. Imagine if the actual outlets are also glass shit that’s one sexy set up

Is there a way to cut a rectangle instead of the circular shape you made? I have a vent instead of an outlet.

What are you using for coolant? I've been using a drill press type machine from crl and my backing is chipping off. I go slow and let the weight of the machine do the drilling. Back my bit off and let my mixture fall onto the cutout. Any help would be great.

How do you treat the freshly cut edges so they are not sharp?

Is it possible to make custom cuts?
I’d like to place a mirror on my door but want to cut the door handle and lock sections.
