Excellent review John, those high helix cutters are current/latest technology, but achieve best results climb milling, ref CNC use. If I may add, carbide is susceptible to thermal shock, ref getting hot, then squirting some coolant on them. They will machine HSS steel, ref cutting tools, look up Stefan Goteswinter.

After your review of the banggood carbide twist drills I tried to buy a set, but they only sell them in metric (that new innovative, untested, theoretical system).

I bought the exact same cutters about 18 months ago and they have been great. I’ve given them plenty of abuse and haven’t missed a beat I’ll be buying them over and over again as needed

Mirror finish. I didn't expect the finish to be that good like you remarked. Impressive. Straight through cut brill. I'd buy these with out a doubt.

When cutting aluminium one could also use denaturated alcohol as cutting fluid. The good thing with it is that it evaporates quite fast leaving no mess behind. The bad thing is that it may catch fire and that it tastes horrible due to the denaturation chemical. This, of course, can be medicated either by using vodka or not sticking the fingers in the mouth.

These are Tungsten Steel. Not a drop of carbide in them. Read the ad closely.
