your title is misleading. None of the recovery programs are free, what is more most of them are way overpriced for home user. They should think of small fee for one time use like 5 euro. I am not paying $179 for a licence to use something once.

I tried to use recoverit trial version. While scanning after few minutes, suddenly it started to show disk not found whenever i wanted to see files yet it was scanning. I dunno how is that possible. I let it to scan 100% and so when finished I tried to recover and showing still dame disk not found although it is there. I cancelled after many attempts that if it finds it and now it wants me to buy a version.

Hi thanks a lot but you wrote free and didnt even mention disk drill which gives 500mb data recovery. only 100mb for the software you mentioned is totally useless as we normally have at least 100 gb to recover. please share software which can do 100 gb for free
