Closing Plenary & Panel: The Promise of Collaborative Action & Perspectives from the Leadership Team

The Promise of Collaborative Action: Dr. Kris Saarlas, Director, Health Campaign Effectiveness and Ms. Leah Denise Wyatt, Senior Associate Coalition Director, invited participants to reflect on action items that have been identified during the breakout sessions. Participants voted on priorities for the Coalition to address in the coming year.

Coalition Priorities for the Coming Year: Meeting participants reconvened to report out on promising practices that emerged from the sessions. Members of the HCE Leadership Team from PAHO, UNICEF, GAVI Vaccine Alliance, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and WHO discussed ways to strengthen collaboration and improve financing for health campaigns, and identified priorities for the Coalition for the next year. By the end of plenary, consensus was built around tangible actions that can be taken to use campaigns effectively and in concert with ongoing health services in the coming year.
