HOW TO KICKFLIP THE EASIEST WAY TUTORIAL

The Purpose of Braille Skateboarding is to grow the number of people who skateboard by teaching, motivating, and inspiring. We do this by making skateboard tutorial videos covering every how to skateboard video under the sun moon and stars. By learning ourselves and showing that no matter how old or young you can learn to skate. Part of this is also providing a suggested path to take in learning to skate. Then we inspire NEW people to learn to skate by making videos outside the very small world of skateboarding. We turn an ipad into a skateboard, skate on a big screen TV, and even a door. We focus not only on the creativity here but building the board and then all the way through to seeing what tricks can be done on it. Skaters have always been a creative bunch of people they take the normal ideas of society and change it to create their own world. Most people see a set of stairs we see a kick flip going down them. Our goal here is to take people that may never of thought of skateboarding before and get them on a board.

I have created many ways to achieve the above goal and will list them all below. Different ways for different people so have a look through and see what fits you best.

Holy shit I've been doing it wrong for 15 years. I wish I grew up with the internet.

I landed my first kick flip today and a tip that's not shown in this video that REALLY helped me was to make sure you are leaning forwards over your board, for the longest time I had been doing everything correctly, my flick was good, my back foot was over the board, snap was good, but my board was ALWAYS landing in front of me, what really helped me was to hang on to a table or a handrail and kickflip while holding on to that, that forced me to lean forwards, then when I did my first one without the table/rail I just pictured myself leaning forwards to hold onto something and within 2 days finally landed one, once i landed my first one I kept going and landed 5 more in my next 20 or so attempts... hope that helped some of you

I'm a 27-year-old who is getting back into skateboarding. The tip to "catch it with your BACK foot" helped tremendously. I think people that struggle with the catch focus too much on the front foot when the back foot placement will ensure a better roll away. Thanks, dude!

I remember in my skateboarding "prime" I never landed a kickflip in a satisfying way, but after coming back to the craft from a long hiatus, I landed one first try. To me, the kickflip was the first trick that was really a mental battle. I had to be confident enough to attempt to land it knowing that i could possibly slip out and hurt myself, and when I came back to skateboarding after taking that break, I had more confidence in myself as a person and was just able to do it more effectively. It took me almost 4 years to finally land one and feel good about it.
