(0:00) In an effort to find a chatbot for my website that can draw on my own knowledge, (0:04) I discovered the Koz platform. Very soon I found it to be a near-perfect platform for my purposes, (0:10) with huge possibilities for customization to my needs. (0:14) By the second day, I was running out of free credits and was prompted to upgrade.
(0:19) However, what was my disappointment when I found out that even though the creators of Koz are from (0:23) the USA, they are unable to allow me payment even upon my pleas. If you have encountered a similar (0:29) problem and you are from the EU, UK, Taiwan, or China, in short you are not a US citizen like me, (0:36) don't despair because there is a solution and it is not complicated. (0:40) All you need is for their payment system to think you are American.
For this, (0:45) there is a so-called VPN that will make your IP address appear to be American. (0:50) Most of the VPNs is paid, but there is a browser that has a built-in VPN, and it's called Opera. (0:56) Opera even has its own portable version, so you don't have to install it on your computer.
(1:03) So the process is simple. 1. Google Opera or Opera Portable. (1:08) 2. Install it on a disk or flash drive.
3. Click on the VPN icon in the address bar and (1:14) 4. Set your IP address as US. This should unlock your payment options. (1:20) May Koz be as useful to you as it was to me and save you a lot of time.
