It’s videos like this that are helpful for those who just got into archery for bow hunting. Act like we’re walking into a trusted pro shop and we’re getting set up for life.

Hey Dan just in case your wandering, the palm area of the front hand that you ask for the weight to be evenly distributed across near the "life line" is called the thenar eminence.

God I love this channel, I learn something every time. I started this archery journey 3 years ago now and can't get enough!

Dan thank you. I just learned something watching this. I allways set my 3rd axis with my hamskea level. I should come out one day to learn a little and shoot with you for a day.

Man I wished I lived closer to you and Josh. I’m from New Mexico I would love to have my bow tuned by you guys and learn some stuff. My nearest bow shop is a hour and a half away from me and I don’t really like going there. All I’m lacking is a press and a vise and I can start doing everything and more than the shop does. Still gotta learn though as I’ve never tuned a bow lol

Awesome to see, I love this part of the sport and is really fun to get someone going in the sport. You boys better get over to PA TAC! Would be great to see the West coast guys make it to Seven springs.

Elk hunting with a bow is arguably easier, they get smart and pressured when your hunting with rifle and it makes it really difficult to get close, also in most states you have to contend with loud snow for a large portion of rifle which makes it hard to get closer than 600 yards which for many people is an iffy shot
