I LOVED THIS MOVIE! yes I understand it wasn't the like the top notch block buster epic we love to see, but I just love the tone, theme, and message behind it. Plus it's 76% as of today on the audience score, which is way better than what the critics gave it.

I really wanted this to be good, I can't remember the last time I fell asleep during a movie and, moreover, can't be bothered to finish it. I like the actors, the source material and with a budget like that what's not to like? Quite a lot apparently.

I actually thought it was pretty awesome. It's weird as hell and feels like a comic book, but it's fun, and has heart. A much better watch than a lot of things that get critical praise.

I really hate the whole "We watch *insert whatever movie or series it may be* so you don't have to." If there is something that catches my attention, I'm going to watch it regardless of what others may say. Even if everyone says it's shit, it's not going to sway my resolve to watch it in any way. There are actually tons of movies that had very bad reviews that I ended up liking really much. To quote Adam Sandler: "Critics are cynical assholes."

Hello there for those who are confused of why did it get bad reviews is due to it be more different and unoriginal from the actual book called the electric state it was a fun and good movie but it just doesn't fit the nightmareish in the original book

I could see kids who aren't cinephiles and aren't familiar with every archetype and trope that filmmakers use having a lot of fun with this movie. However, if you are an adult and have seen most of the pop culture movies released in the last 40 years, you will probably find this tiresome and played out. My Earnest review is, it's like if Tomorrowland was even more cliche, sappy, and boring.

My adult son and I actually really liked this movie. I would recommend people watch it to escape for two hours of fun.
