Thanks! Just what I needed, I have the C3-Cat and Dog vacuum. It comes with the carbon HEPA cartridge exhaust filter, and I couldn’t figure out if I needed to install the additional cotton exhaust filter that comes in the vacuum bag box. This is the first video that actually explained that it’s either the cotton exhaust filter OR the carbon HEPA cartridge exhaust filter, not both at the same time.

I have been SEARCHING the net for WHY and where the air clean filter goes !? Now, thanks to your video, I know why I have a massive pile of these filters ! Because I have the HEPA filter in!

You helped me to do what the paper manual could not. I replaced the secondary filter and installed the HEPA filter purchased along with the Miele Topaz seven years ago. Yikes!. All this time I'd been replacing only the bags. I'm tossing my paper manuals and relying solely on the internet for appliance info. This was helpful to me! I was wondering why my bag replacement box came with two different types of filters, but since I have the hepa cartridge, I was able to deduce my vacuum doesn’t need one of the filters included in the box. Thanks!!
