In relation to this self-identification nonsense...in a world full of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act. As a proud Scot and proud UK citizen, I'm disgusted by the SNP.

Live in the highlands and this legislation is just treated as a joke here, I haven’t met anyone keen on more thought crimes on the books.

Sturgeon seems very keen on Referendums, so maybe have one in Scotland on her transgender bill. Most people in Scotland would vote against this.

people can't demand rights that other people have worked for and take them away. How is that OK?

Why do things only matter when they affect women's rights? Surely this effects men's rights every bit as much as women's.

There are 2 important issues that are ignored by this new gender recognition act. The rights of women to female only spaces is important. The added pressure on young people who see themselves as different is the second big issue. Girls who are strong, independent, and do not feel they conform with feminine expectations in the media in the past where labelled as tomboys. They now have doubts about their gender imposed on them too. This act of parliament is just as unhelpful, in my view, as the common image in films that to be an action woman you have to wear Lycra and have the breasts of Lara Croft. There are similar doubts being imposed on teenage boys who have, what society labels as, feminine traits, and are drawn to form strong female friendships. The trans debate talks a lot of freedom, but seems to put a huge importance on labelling people and a huge importance on what you wear.

This kind of reaction from this kind person always seems to be governed by socio- economic status. This woman is challenged by her social level.
