Join me for an exploration of the spirituality, history, mythology and tradition of Beltane, an ancient Celtic Fire Festival also known as May Day, celebrated on May 1. Other spellings and names include Beltane, Beltain, Là Beltain, May Eve and Cétshamain. In this video, we’ll discuss five things to know about Beltane. This festival honors the beginning of Summer, themes of fertility, the harmony of the divine masculine and feminine, the forces of creation and destruction (fire, etc.), growth and transformation. 🔥

The pagan origins of the Maypole are wild because it's a huge part of Jamaican culture. I remember always being fascinated watching the dance and threading of the ribbon.
