Hi Nic. I just defeated Ganondorf myself. I hear you about your lament over the Hylian shield breaking, and i sympathize. But, Ganondorf hits really hard. I had might Zonia sheild with a luminous Talus heart attached to it [and I had just recently refreshed it via octorock], and Ganondorf destroyed it in only two hits, and made a second shield badly damaged after just one hit. The fact that your Hylian shield lasted longer shows how much more durable it is, but also just how hard Ganondorf hits.
