Hello, the internal dimensions of my aquarium cabinet where I will put the external filter are 32*37*60 cm. How many cm is the height of the Aquael ultramax 2000 with the taps? There is a measurement on the website, but it does not say whether the tap is included.

I might consider this one for an aqua-terrarium with turtles. Are the intake and outflow long enough for this?
Because the water level is at least 30cm lower than the edge of the tank and I need both water intake and outtake to be under water. Actually it needs to be more as the water level drops as some evaporates.
So at least 40cm down for both intake and outtake.

The system is modular, but I am not sure if there are enough pieces to reach 40cm down. Or are these pieces also available separate?

Does the inflow need to be under water? I find the flow not very strong even when turned up? Thank you

I'm getting the 1000 version on Monday and I was wondering - Can I put the canister horizonatally or does it need to be vertically?

Good video. Unfortunately, you made an important mistake. The filter media should be ordered from bottom to top, from coarse to fine, because the filter works from bottom to top. The water is rising. So you set the media the opposite way.

Unfortunately I have been having a bad experience with these filters and Aquaels customer service. I purchased 3 of these filters and two of them have terrible issues with air spurting out of them. This seems to be a common problem in forums on the internet where air gets drawn into the inlet valves. Aquael released a version 2 model which tried to resolve the issue but unfortunately the new model is a lot worse than the version 1. My filters are only a few months old but Aquaels service has been awful and they don’t even respond to emails. Despite their obvious lawful obligation for them to fulfill their own warranty their customer care has been nonexistent.

I'm confused about the images I have seen of this filter.. I want to buy the 1000, but I have seen two different versions. One looks the same as this, the other has two buttons (or similar) on the top. What are the differences?

Has anyone experienced the filter stopping to work? Not sure if this is whats referred to as airlock. Its a nightmare getting it atarted again

A video showing how to reset this filter after cleaning because it is a nightmare to get it going again..I am literally about to smash it to bits with a hammer😁 I have been trying for hours to get it going with no luck.

Maybe next time, dont wear black when assembling small black pieces so I can distinguish which you are using lol
