Huawei is using force touch to free up space taken by the navigation buttons at the bottom which is a valid use case but wouldn't it be just as easy to just edge swipe up those areas for the same effect without having to resort to force touch at all?

The idea of such force touch technology is very good. But sadly Huawei has demonstrated how clumsy their design is when applying such technology. Look at how quirky when the reviewer tried to did the force touch in order to trigger the functions - just how unnecessarily strenuous the actions were.

i kinda find it unfair, you know if apple launch force touch it revolutionary and people begin praising it but if an android phone has it, it considered to be a gimmick even though it was first seen on an android device, It not that i hate iphone or anything like that or am an android fan boy but it is time we begin to give credit where it is due.

people keep saying that "oh apples gonna make a big deal about this, huawei did it first" but i think that apple will do it better, and im not an apple fanboy but everyone must admit that apple is gonna perfect this and make it an important part of IOS

Nice innovation, but for in my opinion, the feature is not that too useful. The force touch though is quite impressive. :)
