One day Carol went in for a routine cosmetic procedure to add volume to her face. She had a negative reaction to the silicone injection and it started to expand, disfiguring her face. Attempts at corrective surgery only made it worse, causing her to "feel like a monster," and go into hiding. Leave your face alone then. Just age the way your body ages. It's fine to wanna "better" yourself for your own reasons and confidence or whatever but any procedure you have had risks so you're taking a gamble anytime you do something. Sad but avoidable.
