NEW PAPER PUNCHES HAUL, Paper Punches Haul and Show, New Tab Punch and Scallop Lace Border Punch

In today's video I am showing you some new paper punches I picked up from Country Craft Creations and also showing you some others I have in my stash. I have a lace punch just like the one from we r memory but its from dress my craft and its much smoother and it has the lid on the back.

Love the last tab punch. And the border punch is similar to Martha Stewart doily border punch and I think it's discontinued so hopefully your punch gets easier to punch.

I have the same single piece tab punch. It would be easier if it were flipped, but I just score the whole length of a paper with my scoring board at around .5 inch. That way I could slide the paper in from the side and just keep sliding to get multiple folded tabs. It works, but definitely a work around. It was designed to only cut one half because it (along with three other designs) were meant to be the insert to clear plastic sticker tabs that WRMK sold. You’d punch the tab, decorate as desired, and place on one side of the sticker and fold over. They create kind of a laminated tab. I never used it that way, but that’s why they designed kind of a strange punch. Good luck getting the new one to be smoother! Nothing worse than a difficult punch!

I think I’ve seen that using foil in your punch will sharpen it and make it easier to punch.

My tab punch is like that but it’s set up differently, I slide the folded side in, the one you have looks backwards.

The Martha Stewart punches had a handle on them to offer more leverage when punching. They were still a little stiff, but were much easier to punch than the one you have. Too bad We R Makers amputated the handle.

A little WD40 spray might help to lubricate the mechanism

If you use a lighter card stock it works much easier.

The first tab works if you put the fold first.. and don’t put your card stock not quite to the bottom.. than you have a real tab

That scalloped punch is meant to be used on the table

Punches are sharpened by punching aluminum foil.

Not impressed with the ribbon put together to give you a small piece, that would annoy me! My punches are from Stampin Up which is the same really as EK success! That punch should not be that hard to punch! I've had my many many punches for years and years, all are easy to punch!
