Someone bought 40, 000 12/25 $225 calls last week around $23. Total of $92 million bet. Go back and look at the history and make a vid about it. This person or entity already made a bet earlier and cashed in big time.

Not sure I can agree. I use to trade average 10k contracts a week. Variety of reasons I’d throw down trades.

What we know as facts :

-bro bought the lowest time decay possible.
-bro bought far OTM for actual max gain percentage for the money the higher the move
-to me odd strike ( most would deal 450/500 strike ) maybe the liquify was there for some reason
-bro dealt in uneven million. Short of 3 million and not an even 3 million which seems odd to me.

I’d laugh though if he closes out before event if stock catapults to 280-295. Any variety of reason he could have and when he will actually cash out calls as volatility should collapse as earnings is headed up as well so..

Who knows. I don’t believe it to be insider but I’ve been proven wrong more than not.

I’ve never seen liquity problems under a mill as long as market maker is one the side where I give up that .01 to get fill and not go even in the middle of bid/ask. Spreads. Leaps. Anything never had an issue

Almost $2 million. How much did you initially start with?

The resistance around 260 is pretty significant, I will wait for it to come down a bit and the load up on calls and let it run back to 260. I don't hold options long, ideally only a few 1-3 days.

The open interest on the 12/18/26 470s is only 364. That number does not seem all that extreme to me. Other strike prices on that date have higher volumes. That buy is just a hedge fund rolling the dice.
