This song reminds me of my dad. We would sit on the couch and he would put lee evens stand up on, my dad would be in knots just by the way Lee would prance about on stage. I've never seen my dad laugh so much at comedy, was pretty amazing. Ill never forget those times.

A huge thank you to Lee Evans for sharing his gifts with us for so many years. This man helped soothe my troubled soul so many times with his comedy, his singing, and his wonderful acting. Evans is a terrific songwriter. He never ceases to evoke a response from me with his heartfelt lyrics.

Whether he ever returns publicly or not, I will always support his choice. We miss him and his personal style very much, but are forever grateful for the time he gave us. Wishing him & his family the very best.

I rewatched all my Lee Evans DVD'S a few evenings ago, and since the moment Roadrunner ended, this song's been playing itself over and over in my mind. One of his greatest pieces, for sure. Beautifully written and performed. Happy-go-lucky (from live in Scotland) is another bittersweet classic of his. What an inspiration this man is.
