Apparently this band is over? No way, you can definitely tell they were writing with a passion.
The lyrics, most of the times while nothing outstanding, do make you reflect as you take them in, and really it's about the way they're sung. Them cleans are soo clean, but in my opinion the raspy, aggressive vocals are where it's all at. The way they keep alternating in Falling is just amazing. Definitely my favorite track of theirs. Also, solo!
The riffs are engaging and never feel lazy or half assed and when we get a solo, it fucking rocks. I own My Darkest Hour as it's the more raw, powerful album of the two...if I could, I would bring this band back for sure! They definitely knew their stuff.
