I'm happy that Mel's kids got to experience that, I hope that I can be a father like that as well. Unfortunately, I grew up in a both abusive and neglectful home however, I wouldn't trade it for anyone else's life because it's my story and it's made me who I am. Broken pieces and all. I've done over a decade of healing and still working. If I get the chance to be a husband and father. I know that I'll get to break the cycle and provide my family with a home of healthy relationships.
