It's really REALLY impressive to engineer a car "out of nothing" as a first try, and get it so good.
Hat's off to the engineers !

Best view of the Grenny so far. I’m up to 48, 000km in mine now. I pretty much agree with your findings. I love mine and wouldn’t swap it for anything, except maybe the Quartermaster although I think the rear legroom in the QM is not quite as good as the waggon, and I have almost 3 teenagers. My only gripes are the lack of a workshop manual which was promised at launch. Come on INEOS, it’s been 2 years now! The lack of a fault code reader that can clear codes and reset service intervals is also a gripe. I guess this will come, the demand is there! I recently serviced mine myself and had to go back to the dealer anyway to get the service interval reset.. not good. Overall I’m delighted with is though.

Hello,
I saw the post and, after almost 45, 000 km with the Grenadier, I would like to add something that I consider very important.
I also work for a service provider in extended disaster relief. The Grenadier we originally intended for deployment has unfortunately disqualified itself for many missions due to a striking error in the INEOS.
It deactivates the axle differential locks when the engine is turned off.
These cannot be reactivated immediately after restarting the engine, but only after the disengagement routine has been fully completed. (And that takes time, because the electronics need feedback from the ABS sensors (speed difference present = locks are released, only then can the locks be reactivated).
Driving to the scene with the locks engaged, parking the vehicle, and then finding the locks no longer available when you want to leave again is absolutely unacceptable.
We already complained about the issue to INEOS in June 2023 (!), when we had the car in use for just under 14 days.
INEOS has also been aware of the issue for a long time.
Rework - unfortunately, no sign of it.
Development partner Magna has proven itself with the Mercedes G that things can be done completely differently technically.
It's a shame, it deserved more potential and better detail work from Ineos 😢😢

Ronny I cannot believe nobody has mentioned this before but I have test driven the Grenadier and removed the vinyl floor mat on the drivers side .That left foot rest is just a big chuck of foam and once removed it gave me a lot more lenght to stretch out my left leg. Just remove the matt and cut the foot rest off and refit- it will feel totally more comfortable whilst driving.

Thank you, Ronny. Your excellent review, with honest and honourable comments, was top-class and reminded me why I chose my Grenadier.
I am now just a squeak under 30K in mine. That anniversary ticks off this afternoon, and I will drive it to the inner city. Due to all its good points, the Grenadier has become my daily driver. It makes me feel good—it drives better than I need—and passengers all tell me they love it to take a journey!

Good to chat to you at the show, watch you travels and hear your views here.
Yes, I was an early adopter. Yes, she still brings a smile to my face every time I driver her. Yes, resetting switches is a bit annoying, but at least it's only a couple of switches. You don't have to go through various menus to get to settings. As someone that nearly bought (another) Toyota, I absolutely agree with your sentiments around what you would need to add to a 76 to bring it to the same kit level as the Grenadier, and I still love how easy she makes rough ground to drive.
So how long until we see you with a Quartermaster cab chassis and Norweld tray? 😉

Top review Ronny, very honest and straightforward having lived with it for a while. Thank you so much 👍🏼 From the United Kingdom 🇬🇧

I have driven my 2 seater for 19, 000km now. That was a fair and balanced review of the Grenadier. BTW INEOS ANZ is in the process of building up a Grenadier cab chassis show car with all the fruit from Australian accessory makers like JMAX, Redarc, Norweld, Brown Davis, etc. Others have also come on board like KAON, Euroflo, etc.

Ronny did a great job testing this vehicle, I enjoyed watching it and even test drove the Grenadier, I don't need to point the pros and cons. At the end, price wise, and half the cost, a 2021 Defender 110 was my choice 😂. My top dislike for the Grenadier is the way it steers.

Seems like you Aussie and those over the pond are loving the Ineos, you’re understanding the quality and the added thought and extras built into the truck from day one. Over here in the UK I think take ups been a little more reserved, massive landrover following to try and crack . I’ve had over 18 forms of LR and I gotta tell you my Ineos diesel is far better built and I am in know rush to swap it out, with previous LR/RR I was always fully aware that big invoices were never to far away, I’d take the hit on the sale price and buy another once warranty expired . So far my grenadier had no major issues, I have had 8 / 10 service bulletin fix’s which I think is a testimony to the ethos of the company . Mines a very early 2023 and expected minor issues and we were rewarded with a cheaper initial price £16000 less than they are now. But ordering new today I bet there’s most things we had recalls for all corrected on the production line. Best thing about the 2023 trucks are No ADAS fitted . Although we do have the facility to add our own speed limit, mines set to bong at 75 where uk limit is 70 mph .
Great video and if you say it’s a good truck then it must be as you do things we dream of in the UK.
I bet Ineos are talking an over the moon with this free advert for the grenadier . 👏👏👏

Love the review 11/10! Personally found it sad to see a lot of drivers having issues with the e-lockers out of the box before putting bigger tyres on but that is exclusively hardcore off roaders VS they are fine for touring and everything in this video (albiet forum reviews). Hope to see what the aftermarket community can do to bring these rigs to the next level moving forwards!

Off road vehicle manufacturers priority should be fuel tank capacity, they need to understand that there are no service stations in the outback or back country.

One of my rage points for over-landing is small fuel tanks. I have an FJ Cruiser and I absolutely hate carrying 5 gallon dot approved tanks of gas on the roof. Toyota put a thimble where the fuel tank should have gone. The other complaint I have with the Ineos Grenadier is the lack of a diesel engine and the use of a BMW engine. Does anyone think they will be reliable? Because I do, They will be reliably bad after 100K miles. That said, in a few years when they come out with a version 2. It will be on my short list for replacements to my FJ Cruiser.

I’m gutted that this vehicle is outta my price point.
My grandfather had an old series 2 Landrover that he adored but when he past away it was stripped and sold for parts. What I’d give to be able to drive that now wouldn’t be short of my kidneys and right arm but I won’t touch a modern Landy, but these ineos’s have been my literal perfect since I first heard about there development. I even visited the Seymour show for the last 4 years or so just to see and sit in them😂 I know it’s pathetic but they are so damn nostalgic it’s not funny!

Thanks for the epic review, watching your videos on the ineos has made me a happy man!
