Do you have to push the lock button first before you push/hold the remote start or can you just only push/hold the remote start to turn on the car?

Thanks for the key start explanation l. I searched for a while on how to use it. Can someone drive the k5 away without the key fob when you start it? I always get scared leaving it on and unattended for a minute.

I do not like how it has sets the temperature to 22C (roughly 72F). It should just have it set to what it was set to last. I guess that annoys me because I live in Texas and it get super hot over here. I want to temperature to be at it coldest setting so that when I get in the car it is nice and cold

My LXS has the remote start button but it doesn’t do anything, I assume it’s an add on?
