Don't worry sisters, I had my HSG done and my both the tubes are open, I just took meftol spas tablet 1 or 2 hours before the HSG test then you will get little to no pain for a min, nothing else. Stay brave, stay calm and stay blessed ❤

I ended up here because I did my HSG3 days today. I’m in so much pain down there so I was searching to see what can I do from home this video explains so much and so well to me. I’m not sure what to do because I’m 35 and it’s been going on more than 10 years. I don’t think I want but because of the scarring on my tubes that caused the port of them to be blocked I am wondering what procedure can I do in order to let it not be cancerous in my future this procedure is very scary. It reminds me of giving birth to my son 19 years ago so I’m not sure if I should carry on the procedure but I’m grateful to find your you taught me a lot

I had this test today. I was terrified from listening to other ppl. So I called my dr and requested pain medication! I took an 800mg Ibuprofen and I didn’t feel anything but small cramps from the liquid and I felt him pulling the balloon part out. It was virtually pain free! Afterwards I wore a pad bc I had spotting and clear liquid coming out. I had a radiologist do my procedure too. Take you pain meds one hour before and just try to relax.

I just had my hsg test today, it's not as painful as you think but make sure that you get any injection they give you, i was given two injections one in the hip and one in hand and the process was mildly painful and it gets over before you know it. Best of luck

Had a hsg, very painful menstrual cramps feeling during the hsg. Results: both tubes blocked and a hydrosalpinx on my left tube. I had some spotting and soreness on the way home which was expected. Well I ended up in the er not even 24 hrs after the procedure for severe stabbing pelvic pain and stomach spasms. I couldn't walk, I couldn't dress myself and any abdominal movement I'd groan in pain. I couldn't fully exhale due to pain, I could barely lift myself up from a laying position. From below my ribs down to my uterus was very painful and very bloated. I looked 4 months pregnant. I think back and still can't believe I went through that. I still don't know what really happened or why my body reacted that way. Uterus showed slight inflammation on ultrasound at the er and was treated for a uti. I did not do well with this procedure. Took a week to recover but dealt with those crazy stomach spasms nonstop for 3 days. Fast forward a month later my uterus doesn't feel the same. Still a heaviness/pressure in my uterus. Headed back to urgent care tomorrow (since my ob appointment isn't until February)to make sure there's no infection/complication they may have missed. If they don't find anything I have no choice but to continue with surgery for the hydrosalpinx and hope and pray I don't go through the same pain all over again. Then onto ivf. Feeling discouraged and wish I had answers
