My tree is a 9 ft. LED pre-lit Dunhill Fir and each section has multiple plugs. I can't find enough connecting plugs to connect each section. Only the bottom action lights up. Solution?

I can't find the male/female plugs in the tree sections - are they at the bottom of each section?

My tree came green tape over the extension cords, remove the green tape and plug them into the tree section below each section

The presenter did say the red step-on device controls the colored light selections. The clear lighted trees do not have that color selector step-on button .

My lights take 15 to come on after ive plugged them on, why is this?

The one i have the base is 6.5 ft. Has anyone tried to remove the base and just use the other 3 Pieces? This is for the 9ft. Pre-Lit Jersey Fraser Fir Tree with Clear Lights KU: PEJF1-300-90
