Why brands need to put social FIRST

Companies need to realize that brand is built on social. That means the brands that are winning are quite effective in social media marketing or on their product, and they don't have to be effective in TV commercials and above-the-line branding .. and the brands that are losing market share are betting the farm on above-the-line branding and TV executions. It's just black and white.

Brands need to stop being so full of shit... So many brands want to hop on the next big trend instead of being a trend creator. Appeal to everyone and you'll appeal to nobody. This is one of the reasons a lot more people are moving to smaller businesses as consumers.
