I have eaten manti in many restaurants in Armenia and have never seen it served like that. Usually many more than 9 or 10 with some broth poured on it to soften and yogurt and sumak on the side.

RIP Johnathan Gold!!!

He was one of the greatest food critics the world has ever known, and was always the man who brought attention to many great restaurants all across LA. Guess you could say he was a “Man of the People”, who always loved to eat Eclectic & Global Cuisines, and more importantly, saw so much heart & soul from local places that some “Michelin Started Restaurants” never had. I hope his legacy Carrie’s on throughout LA, all across America, and throughout the whole world.

To those who wanna know more, watch his documentary “City of Gold”, where he talks about his work, and how he became the first Food Critic to win a Pulitzer.
