We Tried For One More Baby - And 5 Arrived | MY EXTRAORDINARY FAMILY

MEGAN Hulen and her husband Joshua had two sons; Jacob, seven and Matthew, two, when they decided to try for one more baby in the hope of having a little girl. They were told at an ultrasound seven weeks into the pregnancy that there were ‘five heartbeats instead of one’ and could not believe the news as they had a hard time getting pregnant. Megan said she panicked and ‘was thinking that I’m 5’1, where are all these babies gonna go and how is this gonna work?’ Despite all her infertility issues and health complications ‘all of the quints were born in four minutes’ and Megan ‘could not believe how fast they were born’. Talking about the judgement she received, the mum of seven says that people have commented on how irresponsible it is to have that many - but says most people have been super supportive and excited.

The fact she didn’t even really want a 3rd and ending up with 5 and stepped up to the plate to be this amazing mom to 7!!! She’s truly an angel and I hope her and her family all the best in life:)

This is such a blessing! 5 healthy babies at the same time, born at 32 weeks! That's AMAZING.

I love the way this mother has adapted so well, and even though she didn’t even want 3, she is still there for every single one of her kids! wow! That’s a great mom!!!

She is an amazing mother!! I cannot believe she carried 5 babies for 32 weeks all while caring for two other kiddos, one with medical complexities. Absolute Wonder Woman!

What a truly beautiful family. I can’t believe she made it to 32 weeks with quints, that’s phenomenal! Not all women pregnant with twins make it that far along.
I’m not sure why anyone in society thinks it’s any of their business what other women decide to do with their reproductive organs?! You get judged for not choosing to have children, you get judged for having a singleton & not wanting a large family, you get judged for having a large family. It’s no one else’s business. People need to learn to stay in their own lane & keep themselves to themselves!

Wishing you so much love & blessings for your future! Xxx

I hope the husband is as involved in care as he is in wanting the kids in the first place.

For a woman who had PCOS and later a mother of seven, it's a Testimony, it's a miracle... I'm so happy for you. I believe God will see you guys through. ✌️

Can we all just take a moment to admire what the human body can endure.

Not only is he a great big brother, he is going to make a fantastic husband and/or Dad (if he chooses to marry and/or have kids). Learning all those life skills at a young age, is excellent. Of course, Mom & Dad are doing amazing too! Congrats!

at least they have the possibility of so many built in friends + more support growing up! i hope all 7 of those kids have the most amazing lives together + have each other's backs growing up. best of luck to those parents! they seem like loving, caring + responsible people.

Congratulations to the whole family! Brothers helping little siblings is also amazing.

I can’t imagine how exhausted mom and dad are but wow, lots of love in that home.

Woah! Much respect to these parents. I was exhausted just watching them but they have taken it all in their stride and their children look happy and healthy, which is all that matters ❤

I would go crazy that's for sure. One baby is already stressful, I can't imagine five all at once.

How lovely. Our 4th child was twins which was wonderful and they stayed in to 40 weeks (38 is normal for twins). I am glad these quintuplets here stayed in to 32 weeks. It is that longer time in the womb which makes such a different. What gorgeous babies. The oldest brother seems to be really love with the babies as were my older ones with our twins. In the UK I think we call them quins not quints at least I remember that from the Canadian Dionne set all those years ago.

4 minutes to deliver five babies! That's 48 seconds per baby if you average it out! That's crazy! Here I thought I was a fast baby coming out in less than 15 minutes from induced labor!
