Updated Front Valance for the NBS Yukon (New Lower Lip Added)

I know it has been a few videos since we worked on the NBS GMC Yukon but between my Son using it and me daily driving it has been a struggle to work on it. In this video however we put a brand new GM Fog light Valance on and add a lower splitter or lip to it. I really think the lower lip makes it look so much more aggressive. While we have all that apart I add new fog light housings and led fog light bulbs to the Yukon. Not only do the led fog lights perform better they look more modern as well. I am sure you noticed from the picture or thumbnail but we also removed the billet grille. It had to go. Follow along as I show you how to remove the lower valance or plastic from your GMC Yukon or Chevy Tahoe. The replacement of the valance or plastic is easy to do if you take your time and makes a huge difference in the look of your SUV. In this video we also take a look at the front pitman arm and idler arm to see what all needs replaced during the lowering process. Hit the Comments and let me know what you think.......

It’s looking a lot better. I have always wondered what the deal was on that extra lip, I remember when those where new and occasionally you would see a Tahoe with one, always thought they looked good but never looked into it, thanks now I know!

On my 06 Yukon I used eagle eyes fog lights and i'm very impressed with the construction, they even feel heavier than the original "autosystem" GM brand. I bent the bumper flange, used spacers and oblonged the holes on the plastic fog lights to get them to sit perfect in the valance. Also, since the fog lights have no splash shield in the back of them your front tires can splash a lot of water pressure on the back of the LED heat sink and water will seep through the heat sink and lead wire into your fog light.

I like how the front end looks like from far away. I would change out all the front suspension if your changing out the idler and pitman arm

My '05 Yukon My factory front / lower valance ... the center 24" inset is not open ( between the tow hooks ). But, also considering to install an LED bar inside it ( with a tinted glass, so it doesn't show up too much).... Good video, by the way. I also replaced my fog housings... I noticed, the finger adjustment 'bolt/spring/ thread' size are different from stock (?) Also planning to install an HID Morimoto kit for the

SEM Color Coat in Landau Black. It lasts. I did my Avalanche cladding w it 2 years ago and it is still as black as it was when I first did it. It’s amazing stuff.

03-07 Sierra front end on a Yukon would be cool! I believe its just a bumper and grille.

Factory is the way to go on grilles, imo. I used the KYC brand lights, per your suggestion, and I love ‘em. But I wanted that factory amber. I’m not sure on a good brand for clears.

I have that same lower lip on my 05 Tahoe. It looks good. I bought aftermarket OEM fogs for mine and they shake a lot. Let me know how those work out for you.
