Long Division: Dividing 4-Digit Numbers by 2-Digit Numbers Maths

This rlly helped me out! I was confused with division because when my teacher teached division I wasn't there and I was a kid[8-9] (I'm still gr 4 don't hate me please) and then I didn't understand division and then when I failed my quizzez(mostly math my scores were 1-4 I think) and then I got a c or d in math so my mom grounded me I used my phone to review and when I saw ur tutorials I was not confused anymore it's super wonderful! I'm not struggling too much anymore with division and I'm trying to keep my grades up TYSM!

in the first example why didnt you put 0 them bringing the 3 down in the second step?

And you write 489 at top

Multiply 15 by 489 and you get 7335
And subtract it and 35 joins together
So the zero is gone

And minus the 73 together to get 0 but 35 are joined together
You dont need the 0

So you don’t need the top and the bottom so you’re left with 35
