Love your channel. I follow your posts religiously ! Thank you for keeping us up to date with what's happening with the watch industry in Switzerland. I so much am in admiration for the haut horology you present on your channel :) I have an idea for a program for your channel, but you would have to make it longer than 3 minutes I think. I would like to see an investigation into wether it it possible to produce a mechanical time piece with an accuracy equal to a quartz time piece ? I would think with the skill and available technical calculations and engineering afforded by today's computer technology, such a mechanical chronometer class watch could be realized with an accuracy equal to a quartz movement.

What does "email" at the bottom of the Patek mean? Where it usually says "Swiss made"?

As you may remember I visited Zenith in mid september and I had some hands-on time with the two latter new products. The George-Favre Jacot Titanium is not a tourbillon though. It is powered by the El Primero 4810 C which is a handwound Constant Force iteration of our beloved auto chronograph movement. And the Christophe Colomb is a cleverer form of a tourbillon were the escapement is placed on a "Gravity Control Module" that balances out any changes in position to keep the escapement in a stationary position. It also sports a fusée-chain transmission like the GFJ T 150.

I think the TAG Connected is of to a good start and it seems that they also adapted the Heuer 01 to make the date visible again.

Great Video as always my friends, best wishes to you from Olten and have a good weekend :-).

great video as always... been your viewers since thetime.tv (that was nostalgic). But please get me straight here.... I only see one tourby from zenith, the last one, the other one is just using the fusee mechanism and then that christophe colomb... isn't a tourbillon is a mechanism that makes a balance wheel (and escapement) rotates on its own axis to minimize the effects of the gravity towards the rate, by neutralizing the rate when the balance wheel (or hairspring) in certain vertical position and counter it with another vertical position, so errors during the process of poising the balance wheel and the hairspring could be minimized/neutralized, while christophe colomb used the advantages of its mechanism to make the balance wheel stays flat? so if christophe colomb is a tourbillon doesn't it make the cartier astroregulateur as well?

I believe those adhere to mechanical watches won't be drawn away and to digital/smart watches. However, those starting with smart watches may very well move to the real things. This helps the traditional watch industry.

Do you guys think that there is a bubble, that is bursting soon, in the watch industry?

I think that the mechanicals watches are And always be much superior that the technology watches. The greats companies don't have to do smart watches. Because in my opinion the smart watches is more for kids and not for a serious people.

The tag heuer smart watch has honestly just discarded Tag from any good watch company list there is. It is an abomination in my eyes.
