Christian Bale's story behind playing Gorr in Thor: Love and Thunder

Did you know that in Thor: Love & Thunder, Christian Bale almost turned down the role of Gorr for various reasons? One reason is he initially decided that he will not play any superhero or comic book films after playing Batman in Dark Knight Rises, due to the fact that he found the genre uninteresting. Also he found the experience of putting on the Batman costume a miserable one. On top of that, Christian Bale also prefers to have more time in between projects. But he only had 3 days after his project before going into quarantine in Australia before this film. It was his kids who convinced him to take the role of Gorr and he was impressed by Taika Waititi's previous films.
