My mouse traps worked perfectly yesterday, I left the door open on one of my buildings, and the feral cat's took care of the mice. They are amazing to watch!

It could just be the bait that doesn't work. Dig out the provided bait, wash it out, put peanut butter in the same place, then retest.

These are common in Australia. I bought a couple of Rat traps by the same company because of the strong spring, but found the same issues. So I used peanut butter and nuts. Caught 2 baby rats - one by the foot. The sensitivity if the trap can be improved by bending the soft metal arm but the smooth plastic catch becomes very unstable - caught myself twice.

Given that it's a UK trap, the spring should be more powerful since it's 240 volts
