I got 2 corticosteroid injection in my elbow for lateral epicondilitous (tennis elbow). I’m talking severe tennis elbow too. So bad that I had to stop using my arm altogether because the pain was unbearable. The shots literally cleared it right up. The pain never came back after the second shot. It may be advisable to try do rehab first (which I did) but if the pain doesn’t go away you have to just accept that your damage needs in depth treatment which includes reducing the inflammation that is causing the pain. Rehab alone usually can’t do that.

But the effectiveness of physiotherapy is very limited in treating this same condition. You failed to mention that.

I've been told exercise is the best treatment for tendons. That they won't heal with rest like muscles do.

i have servere ulnar pain in one side of the wrist and under pinky from typing and gaming so disapointed cortisone injections are not a cure and past too many tests to qualify for operation
