Columnist Brendan O’Neill has strongly criticised the idea of critical race theory, which looks at the social constructions around race, as a “poisonous ideology”.

Speaking with talkRADIO’s Kevin O’Sullivan, the Spiked Online editor said: “With critical race theory we’re teaching kids to obsess about race, to think about race all the time…we are rehabilitating racial thinking and that is such a dangerous thing to do.”

Trump had the balls to stand up to this claptrap...pity Boris doesn't take a leaf out of his book.

Anyone observing our country could be forgiven for thinking that multi-racial societies do not work and create huge social division.

Britain was the country that *abolished slavery* on an international scale. So I'm not quite sure which "Britain" is to be criticized, and by whom?

Well said Brendan. What upsets me is that the pushers of such evil ideologies have such influence over our institutions.

There’s a lot of racism of Britain, more than you claim, far more racism that you claim, but it isn’t the natives responsible for it.

It is a theory, not fact and should not be taught as such. I really don't know why Sociology is classed as a science.

Boris needs to check out the wording of Trump's CRT ban, to argue for CRT means to advocate divisive racist training.

I can't understand why even the likes of Brendan O'Neill and the host just assumes that what Starkey said was racist, in my opinion, it wasn't, if you put what he said in proper context, he was talking about the lefts continuous re-defining of words and meanings, specifically the word genocide, and so he said in an exasperated tone ' if Black genocide was true then there wouldn't be so many damn Blacks in Africa'. Yes, that sounds bad but no different than if I was to say in an exasperated tone that the 'milk was in the damn fridge', doesn't mean I hate fridges, in the same way, it doesn't mean that Starkey hates blacks, it was an unfortunate, inappropriate turn of phrase.

Why should I have to get on with people I don’t like ? It’s my choice

I'm not ticked off that everyone thinks I'm racist because I'm white. I am racist, I admit it. I'm ticked off that so many people are so against it though. Anti racism is such a backwards perspective to me.

Try to get Starkey's quote correct and in context before commenting on it.

CRT explained: Black man fights black man = fair fight. White man fights black man = racist fight. Skin colour is everything!

It’s not about race, it’s about power

I voted Leave and I don't like Islam and think immigration is out of hand - that makes me a racist apparently.

IMO The PM and Government need to be getting off the fence and tell the Brits which side of this they are on. Then we will know what we are dealing with !!!

If I'm a racist its through choice, not because of the colour of my skin 😂
