Android Beginner Tutorial #1 - Installing Android Studio and how to get started

By the end of this video you will know how to:
1) Install Android Studio on Windows
2) Install the Java Development Kit (java JDK)
3) Use the Android Virtual Device (Android Emulator)
4) Run your first "Hello World!" App

This is the first video of the Android beginner series where I'm going to to be showing you all the basic concepts of Android Development. I will give you all the necessary tools so you can start creating your own apps.

Hey Mitch great videos! Is there anyway you could do an updated video series of this at least the tutorials please since it's been 5 years since this video was last uploaded there are many changes with both Windows, JDK website, and the Android Studio setup

Any tip on how to switch the VM to another folder? My C: drive is full and it needs 8gig to operate. Read online to switch folder i'd need to switch the path but had so many problems with that in the past

Hey. I'm absolute beginer and i followed your video, but after new project, intelliJ runs something, then spits errors, and i cannot click RUN button. It says "gradle project sync failed Basic functionality will not work properly". Any ideas?

after installing Java jdk while Changing the path it is showing more paths to edit
like system root the option ...etc it's not showing Android ....?
