That’s why I LOVE my job. They don’t care where or when you work as long as you get your job done. I once logged in to a video call with a beach background and they thought I was working on vacay and told me to log off and enjoy my time. I had to turn the background off to get them to let me stay on! 😂

My job actually does have a written agreement that you are only allowed to work from the address listed at your home in their system. And that it should be from an established workspace (e.g. not the couch) lol. Not that I want to work while on vacation. Mostly it is because they don’t want you working in coffee shops on sketchy WiFi since we have a lot of sensitive information and could get in a ton of trouble if there were a data breach.

Keep in mind. If you move out of state while working remotely, you need to inform your employer. It affects your tax situation.
