I personally save my Thorn's for plant denial, placing them near common and default plant spots to flush people out. While I don't directly get kills with the Thorn, it usually enables me to secure kills with my primary instead.

What’s keeping them from stepping into the door a bit, activating the trap, then stepping back outside?

I did this for the past 2 weeks all the rounds when i was defending here on Chalet, i got like 2/3 kills out of 10/12 situations where people got into "the trap" it works sometimes but they easily counter it destroying the traps

this works for about 10 seconds before someone decides theyre going to drone out boiler and all of a suddenly what's the point of playing off your traps if youre not swinging while theyre distracted

I have a friend who will throw these things in the dumbest locations where people could just easily get away from, but he always manages to get at least two kills around with it
