How To Play As Director of Football in Career Mode!

By implementing a few changes, you can watch the AI battle it out in FIFA 23 Career Mode! This makes it possible to start a Director of Football save, where you are responsible for a club's signings and transfers but not necessarily how the squad plays in game.

Thankfully EAFC will let you watch from the sidelines. Still believe we need a "club Mode" where instead of playing as a manager at the mercy of the board, and moving between clubs, you play as a club and hire/sack managers based on their performance.

Thought of this idea back in FIFA 11, unfortunately, the AI was pretty dog back then so never thought it would work. So glad you’ve done this and brought it to everyone’s attention!

I don't know about newer fifa's but in older ones like fifa 18 or so you could just put the controller icon in between and start the match and it would basically be the same thing🙂

You can also just simulate the match or disconnect the controller and play as neither team when you reconnect
