I'm just putting this out there, I was pen-pals with a writer for mihoyo and he said Shenhe was supposed to have a much bigger role in the overarching narrative but was dropped because she wasn't a fan favourite. Originally Columbina was supposed to be Shenhe's half-sister, but I don't think they'll keep that storyline.
