Coal exports driving Australia's record trade surplus

Soaring coal and gas exports have driven the largest trade surplus in the Australia’s history.

The ongoing commodity price boom drove Australia’s trade surplus to a record in June, potentially halving the forecast budget deficit for the past financial year.

I love how Australia reduces/stops burning coal to meet climate targets, punishing it's citizens in the process, but has no qualms with selling tonnes of the stuff to CHINA, knowing it will "harm" the planet, so which is it the planet or profit.
