1. Observe which way your player is facing, then imagine your FIFA player through the first person view, ie. through his own eyes.

2. Then you hold the 🎮 Left Stick to either 10 o'clock or 2 o'clock.

3. Then you press the lob button + pass button.

You can also do it via the shoot button. But in my experience it's easier to do it via the lob/cross button. It's up to you and both ways works!

As mentioned in the tutorial graphics I've made, you do the FIFA Rainbow Flick this way:

1. The first 🎮 Right Stick flick is done towards the back of the player.

2. The second Right Stick flick to the direction player is facing.

This is always changing when you move on the FIFA gameplay pitch, so for new and beginner FIFA skillers this is a good point to make.

How to do flair shots in FIFA 23 with the flair cross finish?

PS5: L2 + Square
Xbox: LT + X
Switch: ZL + Y

In short, you hold the bottom Left Trigger and press the button that performs the lob/cross.

When positioned this way, it'll often lead to a FIFA bicycle kick goal animation. But it won't always produce this exact same bicycle kick flair shot. Continue to attempt this skills combo, and it'll happen exactly like in this example.
