Presentation by Rulzion Rattray, local historian, who has made a study of the Battle of Killiecrankie over the past 20 years. This is on behalf of KilliecrAnkie1689, a group that opposes the current plan to widen the A9 road over the most sensitive part of the battlefield.

I know I am seeing this video some years later I'm curious to know if construction of the NEW A9, ever went through? If so or if not, were archaeological digs ever possible beforehand? Just curious.

The A9 development plan was drawn up by the London based Ministry of Transport, therefore, as the British Government LOST the battle...it is not important to protect that piece of history.
