2012-2014 Toyota Eco Mode (Turn on, Turn off)

Does it disable eco mode altogether, or just the light?

I did my 2012 Camry and all you really have to do is hold it and it will show econ on then let off and hold it again and it will show eco off

This is not Eco mode, this is only eco indicator. Indicates how you are driving. If you are giving too much accelerator it turns off

Are you pressing the "Engine start/stop" twice while starting the vehicle or you're pressing the Odo button twice while starting the vehicle?
I have a key start vehicle so I don't know which route to take.

I tried it on my Mark II JZX 110 but it didn't go off. The Eco mode or sign didn't show up in the screen. How can i put it off? Its giving me uncomfortable feeling.

I have a 2012 XLE V6 and that light use to turn off when accelerating fast but one day it just stayed on at all times. Anyone knows why?
