Pirates of the Caribbean is a multi-billion dollar Walt Disney franchise encompassing a theme park ride, a series of films and spinoff novels as well as numerous video games and other publications. Le premier film est basé sur une adaptation de l'attraction de Disneyland Pirates of the Caribbean ouverte en 1967 et utilisant le système audio-animatronic. Cette attraction très populaire a été construite dans plusieurs des parcs Disney.

Les acteurs principaux des films sont Johnny Depp dans le rôle du capitaine Jack Sparrow, Orlando Bloom dans le rôle de William Turner, Keira Knightley dans le rôle d'Elizabeth Swann, Geoffrey Rush dans le rôle du maudit capitaine Hector Barbossa, et Jack Davenport dans le rôle du commodore (puis pirate, et enfin amiral) James Norrington.

Playing a peice such as this can really immerse you into the playing. Each note tells a tale and each rest is a mystery. By far one of the best peices created by mankind in my opinion.

I was under the impression it was like the “James Bond Theme”. Klaus Badelt always has and always will receive royalty and credits, but Hans Zimmer really wrote the piece.
