I make all of my own cosmetics. Here is their shelf life!
I make the products in small batches so I don’t waste anything.
I don’t use the ingredient water in my products because it would go bad fast without a preservative.
For oil based products they typically last 6 months. When they start smelling like crayons you know it went bad.
For powder products they last up to a year. This is because it is harder for bacteria to grow on dry ingredients.
