RFK Media, the new multi-media company owned and operated by Ron Keel and partners, has released “Here Today Gone Tomorrow” as a single from the new Ron Keel Band EP “KEELED.”

The track was originally recorded for a charity album project that never materialized, and Keel felt it was too strong not to release. In his own words:

“This song was maybe the first good hard rock tune I ever wrote, back in 1985 on our first tour. Of course we had great metal songs like ‘The Right To Rock’ and ‘Speed Demon,’ but when our producer Gene Simmons heard this one he said, ‘I love it. It sounds like Bad Company to me.’ We recorded it on our album ‘The Final Frontier’ [which spent eight weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart] and it’s been a fan favorite ever since.

“Ron Keel Band kills this tune live, so it was a quick and easy decision to record it for that charity project that never happened. We invited some good friends and fans to sing the background vocals with us (we call ‘em the Keelaholic Choir), DC threw down an incredible guitar solo, and now this Keel classic has a new lease on life.”

The new “KEELED” EP is the pilot project for RFK Media, which plans to release multiple albums in 2022, including new Ron Keel Band music as well as select other artists. In addition to music, RFK plans to branch out into video content, book publishing, art and radio.

“It’s time,” Ron insists. “When HighVol Music chief Bill Chavis died [along with his wife Lori, from Covid-19] we lost not only two dear friends but our record deal as well. After exploring our options, my business partners and I decided to do this our way and I believe we have the experience, brains and balls to get it done right.”

He's still out there and doing it and sounding pretty good. Good for him. Shoot, he sounds way better than Vince Neil or Axle.
