Great pedal. I have the full-sized version. For the price and the versatility that the tone prints get you it’s hard to beat. Helps save money to put towards those fancy delays and reverbs. 😀

Loaded the DynaQ Tone Print. Game changer. I recently added a Vox Valvenergy Mystic Edge Preamp that nestles in behind a Cab Zeus Stereo Cab Sim. I love the bright setting but needed a way to get a bottom end in it. Magic.

I like JHS, so I’ve been looking at the Pulp and Peel. Then I saw this and realized that this is what I need.
Now, as someone else below pointed out, I can put that 130$ price difference to a fancy reverb and delay!
I’m thinking Keeley Caverns or Walrus Fathom.

I get full size HyperGravity compressor. I absolutely love the sustain I get from it. And the TonePrint I have in mine in the "Feels Good" TonePrint by bluesman Kirk Fletcher. I Highly recommend ya check that one out. I've used the HyperGravity Compressor in my compositions I've posted on my channel. Cempression is one thing I'm almost never without in my playin'. Keep up the good work!

I'm eagerly awaiting you next installments. If you wish to continue past the last $500 pedals, could you go into cost effective volume pedals, power supply units, and pedal boards? Then maybe upgrades -- what should be the priority?

Great demo Bill - I like the pedal. I'll check one out as the Tone Prints seem cool. It's also compact. Other cheap compressor options? I have a Boss CS3 and a Marshall ED-1 Edward The Compressor Pedal - both low-tech, built like a tank and good at what they do and they don't cost much either. The MXR M102 Dyna Comp could be worth looking at as well.

Happy new year Bill! The Keeley Compressor Plus is a similarly priced and excellent pedal, with a useful Single Coil/HB switch, but that Tone Print capability puts this unit in another class. What's your opinion of its durability potential? The Keeley is nearly bullet-proof.

hi man, my main style of music is metal, but watching this videos and hearing all the sounds different pedals can produce is really interesting. also i was wondering, do you recomend this compressor for metal and some cleans? (i know metal is not the main focus of the chanel) i just want to make my tapping and all those techniques sound better while i improve my playing. if i have to i will invest on a better one, but if i can save a few bucks it would be awesome
