I bought the Hourglass pallette, the Elephant . I have NEVER spent that much on a beauty product, but after years of these holiday pallettes and everyone talking about how amazing the powder formula is, I broke down and got it. It's just so beautiful on the face. Definitely worth the splurge.

I also bought both during the sale and they became instant obsessions for me. The Mario palette is, without a doubt, my most favorite eye palette of all time! The Hourglass palette was a must have because every year I regret not getting it and I wasn’t going to miss out this year. No other brand does powders the way Hourglass does. The incandescent glow you get from them is unmatched 🌟

I have never splurged on anything like the elephant hourglass palette but I finally did and it is the most beautiful packaging but even better is the product. I’m 54 and it is gorgeous on my skin. I love it, so worth it!

The hourglass palette is definitely worth it. I have that OG three pan as well and it's so densely packed I don't think I will ever use it up! My other splurge that's worth it is my Lisa Eldridge lipsticks. They just make your lips look stunning!!

This Makeup by Mario palette is FABULOUS. If I had to keep just one eyeshadow this may be the one. The Natasha Denona Glamour palette is a frontrunner as well.

I absolutely love my Hourglass holiday palette. I did the custom one so I got the elephant palette with the lightest shades. I have to say now if I were to re-order I’d probably go with the colour story number 2 with the bronzers like you have. I think I’d get a bit more use! With the 20% off sale I think I’ll be getting the MBM ethereal palette myself. I DID buy the Natasha Denona my dream palette and while the colour story is amazing I’m a bit disappointed by the formula. Many of the darker shades are hard panning and I’m having to scrape them. So annoying for how much you pay.

I think both of these are beautiful, the Makeup by Mario eyeshadow palette and the Hourglass palettes but I just can't justify paying the price they ask for

I’ve wanted an hourglass palette for many years, but couldn’t justify the price tag. This year I decided to go for it because I felt like the colors were bold enough for my medium/tan skin tone. I’m happy with my purchase, although the bronzer is not dark enough.
The Mario palette looks beautiful. That may be my next splurge?? 😉

I agree with the Hourglass palette. Still waiting for my elephant one. I do have other Hourglass ambient blush and highlighters. I am in love with them. Honestly I don’t know how they do it. They look amazing on my 57 year old skin. Every time I wear Hourglass People comment on How good my skin looks.
