Wondering how to be understood first time in English? Do you feel 'flat' in your English rhythm? A huge factor is whether you're using the schwa vowel sound enough, and consistently enough.

This is the intro video for a whole series where Paul gives examples of the unstressed schwa vowel sound in English, using memorable groups of schwa spelling patterns as a starting point.

Paul details how (and why) you should be 'Selectively Lazy' when you're speaking English, then gives you the first set of patterns in the series.

🤔There's a slight Daoist flavour in this☯️...So to say, it looks like, in order to strenghten one's English, one should care to keep weak forms weak... and the effort required to improve one's rhythm and intonation, is an effort through lazyness
Not overdoing, following the flow.... the Dao of English speaking!😄
